Cancellation And Refund Policy

Cantur Express requires at least 24 hrs notice for rescheduling. Customer call center needs to be contacted for rescheduling or an email with full details of the ticket and the date to be rescheduled. There is a $30 (for tickets under $70, the fee is $20) surcharge for rescheduling. Tickets are refundable for half value only. Tickets are non-transferable. Ticket can only be used by passenger who has his/her name on original ticket. Tickets are valid ONLY for the scheduled date and time that was purchased. Cantur Express is NOT responsible for any lost or stolen tickets. Cantur Express is NOT responsible for your late arrival and NO show up. Tickets will be void. Cantur Express is NOT responsible for late arrival in connected services due to circumstances that are not within the company`s control. Make sure to check your departure station from www.cantur.ca for any changes 24 hours before the departure. Wheelchair bookings require 2 days notice prior to departure.

Luggage Policy

One carry-on and two luggages is free per passenger. Additional baggage is $20 per baggage. Maximum 5 baggage is allowed to check in. Total max weight for checked in luggage is 90kg (200lbs) (18kg/40lbs per baggage). Oversized items are subject to additional charges . All sports equipment must be properly packed in appropriate bags or boxes.

Onboarding Policy

Federal law does not permit smoking (including vaping and marijuana) in or around any Cantur Express buses and offices. All minors under the age of 15 must have written permission from a parent or guardian in order to travel. We have consent forms that must be filled out. They are also unable to occupy the first row of seats on the coach. We have a ZERO tolerance for ILLEGAL DRUGS, ALCOHOL, WEAPONS, VERBAL OR PHYSICAL ABUSE (toward other passengers and staff) and/or any UNRULY BEHAVIOR. This applies to the buses as well as any offices. You will be asked to leave if this not followed with no refunds. No animals can be transported on the coaches. However, service animals that are trained and registered, will be permitted to travel with the person at no additional charge with the proper paperwork. The animal must have the appropriate documentation, or they WILL NOT be permitted to travel. Photography, video and/or audio recordings of any Cantur Express personnel, equipment or procedures is strictly prohibited. Carry on luggage and/or items must be able to fit in overhead shelf (if applicable), in front/under their seat or on their lap and CANNOT impede other passengers, seats or walkway for safety reasons. They also must be secured properly.

Other Terms

Government photo ID is required at the time of check in. Service is NOT guaranteed and there may be delay or cancellation caused by different factors (i.e, road closure, mechanical issues or weather). We do our best to provide the service. Freight Options, Terms and Conditions

The cargo has to be properly packaged as to not cause any damages to other freight and the cargo area. If receiver does not show at the stop at the scheduled time to receive the shipment, the bus has to continue its course and a surcharge of 20 dollars is applied on the next delivery attempt. The maximum freight liability is $150.00 per accepted freight. We do not accept freight that has a replacement value of more than $250. Maximum of 27 kgs is allowed for freight. Cargo of more than 27 kgs is subject to additional costs as well as other requirements (both sender and receiver have to be present at loading /unloading and handle the freight themselves). Cargo of more than 27 kgs is only allowed if the route does not require any transfer of the freight. If the receipt is not present at the time of unloading a $50 will be applied as a fee. If you miss your scheduled freight pick up time or decide not to sent freight, only half value voucher will be issued to the sender.
